National Cherry Blossom Festival
Website design, user experience
-
When the Festival approached our team, their website was hard to navigate, bloated with outdated pages and content, and in need of a visual face lift. The CMS made it extremely difficult for the festival team to make quick updates to the site – a necessity for any event website – and they even experienced outages around peak visiting times during the previous year's events.
We overhauled the structure and content of the entire site, distilling it into essential information necessary to their target audiences. We also added some new features, like an event calendar and advanced search functionalities, to help visitors plan their experience at the festival.
We worked with our development team to create a custom CMS built upon a collection of pre-loaded content blocks to ensure the festival team could keep the website up to date at a moment's notice with little training required.
